Ashfield Infants Home Childcare centre
Three childcare license play areas were carefully designed to accommodate children and their carers with all abilities while providing a playful, challenging and stimulating outdoor areas. The brief was to create a natural play environment for inner city children with rocks, sand, timber and water amongst lots of plants and hiding places. Our design considered a balance between quiet and busy places using layering of outdoor rooms. You will find quiet hammock areas, special toddler crawling places, as well as bridges, balancing elements, a 'Beach Hut' or sandy bay allowing for a play with sticks, mud or hide and seek through a live bamboo tunnel. A wholesome play experience.
